Their vision centers are distributed all over the US, and they are amongst the pioneers in the market to provide such medical technology known as LASIK. Making the life-changing decision to go through with laser eye surgery requires a lot of thought and thorough evaluation. It can also be quite a daunting process for patients.
Because of this, it is vital for a company like LasikPlus to have a website with curated and credible content that ensures the visitor’s experience is safe, comfortable and informative. Since the founding of the company, the LasikPlus mission has remained the same – to be strong members of their local communities, committed to providing patients with amazing care and customer service, from some of the most experienced LASIK doctors in the United States, using state-of-the-art technology. The goal of the company is to democratize top-quality LASIK with some of the very best LASIK doctors and advanced technology.
LasikPlus wanted to become thought leaders in their industry by redesigning their website to address the visitors’ needs by focusing on educational information, access and affordability.
The Scopic Solution
Scopic and LasikPlus combined their efforts to present a user-friendly and unique meeting point for website visitors who are hoping to find out more about laser eye services. First, LasikPlus provided Scopic with their own UX/UI. Then based on the provided mockups we created a custom theme. Using the plugin Advanced Custom Fields, our web app experts built several templates with different building blocks to match the specifications provided by the client. Concentrating on both the code and visual appearance, our team restructured the pages UX-wise – turning LasikPlus’ vision into a fully-responsive and engaging website for visitors to find out more about laser eye surgery.
LasikPlus’ top priority was to enhance the user experience. With this in mind, Scopic made sure to feature geo-located content – offering the closest vision center on the home page according to where the user is located, with an added possibility to change the current location via Google Search Autocomplete.
