Traffic prediction systems, on the other hand, are designed to alleviate these challenges. Traffic prediction systems help improve traffic conditions and decrease travel delays by better utilizing the available capacity on the roads.
The Vision Behind the App
The company’s vision was to provide road administrators with a powerful tool that would help them detect traffic jams, car accidents, and other issues in the city’s transportation system. Their main objective was to improve road safety, combat traffic congestion, and aid the road administrators in their daily decision making. So they reached out to Scopic to start the work on the app.
The Scopic Solution
Scopic developed the Traffic Prediction App from scratch. It is a web application that combines a decision tree of different road conditions with a real-time updating map. This solution allows road administrators to stay up-to-date with the information about the city’s transport network, helping them better plan the available transportation capacity.
The app features a free-drawing decision tree, real-time map with custom markers, and isomorphic map markers.
