Pioneering 3D vascular imaging

The Challenge

In the ever-evolving landscape of modern medicine, physicians and medical device representatives encounter a significant challenge: effectively accessing and collaborating on intricate 3D vascular cases. These cases are instrumental in ensuring precise diagnoses, careful treatment planning, and the seamless coordination of e-clinical trials.

However, traditional approaches often need to provide the flexibility and interactivity necessary for accurate diagnosis, pre-interventional planning, and seamless collaboration among medical professionals and device representatives. This highlights the pressing need for innovative solutions to streamline these processes and enhance patient care outcomes.

The Vision

AngioCloud revolutionizes vascular imaging with its state-of-the-art 3D imaging software that empowers medical professionals to effortlessly share and analyze vascular images across any connected device, whether desktop or mobile.

This Cloud-based solution grants universal access to high-quality images, revolutionizing the landscape previously confined to hospital workstations.

The convenience and flexibility offered by AngioCloud accelerate procedure planning, enabling precise sizing, placement, and deployment of medical devices. E-consults, pre-surgical planning, and clinical decision support stand to benefit significantly from this groundbreaking technology. AngioCloud pioneered immediate 3D image sharing, marking a transformative leap forward in vascular imaging capabilities.

The Scopic Solution

Scopic harnessed AngioCloud’s groundbreaking technology to transform vascular imaging. The team developed a stand-alone web-application for AngioCloud, that is designed to receive 3D rotational angiography (3D-RA) DICOM datasets. With its interactive views, this app assists physicians in visualizing and measuring cerebral vasculatures as they undertake pre-operative planning.

Physicians can query a 3D-RA dataset directly on AngioCloud Service and will only require an internet browser and internet to allow them to proceed. This level of accessibility ensures that healthcare providers can fully utilize the capabilities of this advanced tool regardless of their location.

The AngioCloud Service App is equipped with a variety of essential features designed to address the unique requirements of physicians. These features include;

  • Segmentation of neurovascular structures
  • Centerline calculation
  • Visualization of 3D vascular images
  • Measurement and annotation tools
  • Case sharing and reporting tools
  • Clinical trial templates
