- Speech-to-Text Transcription: The solution uses advanced AI models, such as OpenAI’s GPT-4 and Deepgram’s Nova-2-Medical model, to transcribe radiologists’ spoken input with high accuracy.
- Template Matching and Customization: The AI automatically selects the appropriate template based on case context and maps transcriptions into structured fields relevant to different imaging types, such as knee or brain MRIs.
- Color-Coded Review Process: Transcribed text appears color-coded, allowing radiologists to quickly identify and review AI-generated content before approving the final report.
- Contextual Learning: By incorporating a vector store through Chroma, the system references prior reports for context, enabling ongoing improvement as data grows.
The solution integrates seamlessly into Mediphany’s Recorder Desktop application, leveraging a robust AI pipeline built with technologies like Python, langChain, and AWS Lambda for deployment.
